About this Recipe

By: Stevie Kennedy

Smoothie bowls are perfect on a hot summer day or when you want to switch up your typical smoothie. This recipe is a nice thick smoothie consistency that includes protein and is topped with fresh fruit, granola, and peanut butter. It’s light and filling and the perfect way to start your morning!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Frozen Organic Berries
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Organic Spinach
  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder
  • 1 Scoop Collagen Powder
  • 1 TSP Ginger
  • 1 cup  Almond milk
  • Topped with:
  • Fresh Organic Blueberries
  • Fresh Organic Strawberries
  • Banana
  • NuTrail Keto Granola
  • Cinnamon
  • Organic Peanut Butter

This smoothie bowl is packed with nutrients and is a great way to start your morning! You can get in all your superfoods in one easy bowl. It is filled with healthy fats, fiber, and protein. This is my go to breakfast when I am wanting something on the sweeter side, that is full of nutrients. I top it with my favorite berries, granola, and peanut butter. The way I get my peanut butter to a more runny consistency is by using organic peanut butter powder. What I do is one scoop of peanut butter powder and slowly add in water until I get the perfect consistency to drizzle over my bowl. I love this because then it is not as thick and mixes better with my bowl. I love how fast and easy this recipe is to make!

Brands used:

* Truvani Protein Powder

* Ancient Nutrition Collagen Powder

* Kirkland Organic Peanut Butter Powder  (From Costco)

* NuTrail Keto Granola (From Costco)

(I do not work with these brands, I just really like them!)

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Add the frozen berries, frozen spinach, ginger, protein powder, collagen powder, and almond milk to a blender and blend until desired consistency. Add splashes of almond milk if needed to ensure everything is blended smoothly and is thick.

Step 2
Chop all fresh berries and banana and then put a scoop of peanut butter powder into a bowl and add water to get a runny peanut butter to top the bowl with.
Step 3
Pour blended smoothie into bowl and top with chopped berries and banana.
Step 4

Then sprinkle on cinnamon and granola.

Step 5

Add a drizzle of peanut butter on top & Enjoy!
